Title: Diversity and bionomics of aquatic insects

Duration: 90 hours in about two weeks.
Exam: written final exam at the end of the course.
Topics and tentative teachers: the course focuses on the systematics, biodiversity and bionomics of the following aquatic insect taxa: Orders Ephemeroptera and Plecoptera (Dr. Carolina Nieto), Order Odonata (Dr. Javier Muzón), Order Diptera and Family Culicidae (Dr. Raúl Campos), Family Chironomidae (Dr. Mariano Donato and Dr. Augusto Siri), Family Ceratopogonidae (Dr. Carla Cazorla), Order Trichoptera (Dr. Julieta Sganga), Order Heteroptera (Dr. Silvia Mazzucconi), Order Coleoptera (Dr. Mariano Michat and Dr. Patricia Torres).
